Lexi’s Dance

I love new challenges in photography. I’ve never gotten the opportunity to work with a large group at one time let alone multiple costume changes in one session. Not to mention Lexi is such a trooper. These are only a few of my favorites since we ended up with so many awesome pictures. Can’t wait to work with this group again!

Seniors: Daniel G.

Oh, Daniel… Such a funny kid. I’ve known him for a while and it’s awesome to see him grow up and officially be graduating this year! Also, loved this location. Done it before but this time we had different lighting and even discovered some new spots. Congrats Daniel!

Hudson M.

Direct sunlight, middle of the day, heat radiating off the train cars and it was all worth it. It made it so much easier with this kid having the most precious smile and contagious laugh. Not to mention the natural model ability. Happy Birthday (the cutie turned 4)

Engagements: Abby and Carson

Abby and Carson both were so fun to photograph! I’m thankful for their patience and willingness to give me a chance to take their engagements. For this being my first time, I couldn’t ask for a better set up. I mean look at these two. Could they be any cuter?

ZION: The Overlook Trail

The last and final trail we explored on our little adventure. This trail was unique because it is a little outside of the more human populated areas and trails so you get to see a little more of the wildlife. ZION: Emerald Pools Trail

Emerald Pools may not have been the most challenging but for what it lacked in excitement it made up for in beauty. Water dripped down from the many layers of the canyon into several different pools, streams, and creeks making this place extremely photogenic.

ZION: Angels Landing

These views are only from the way up to the landing before you being the most dangerous part of the hike and down. For me being a rather unexperienced hiker I didn’t want to risk me falling due to a picture opportunity gone wrong (which I totally would have)....

Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is one of the most instagram/twitter/tumblr worthy spots these days. With it’s gorgeous view and daring “live-on-the-edge” appeal, it attracts tourist from all over the world. Of course, that is if you don’t mind a couple thousand feel drop off over the edge. But hey, if I’m taking a trip up to Northern Arizona/Utah area of I’m definitely going to stop by and see for myself what the fuss is about. And these...

Senior Pictures: Stacey

I posted a picture from this senior session on my Instagram and got so much love for it I decided to post the full session on here as a throwback. Took these pictures with my old 35mm Olympus manual film camera. I can’t wait to take more sessions with these since this turned out so well.

Bisbee, Arizona

Last Fall, I was given the wonderful opportunity to travel down to Bisbee, Arizona for a few days. The town has so much character and quality small-town vibe. Not to mention the coffee is amazing.
